Biography

MAGGENTA, aka Loïc Willm, born in 1997 in Mulhouse, grew up in Alsace with an early conviction: his life would be written in BPM. From the age of 14, he was DJing birthday parties and small gatherings, discovering his natural ability to create emotion through music. At 16, he landed his first EDM residency in Colmar and gradually established himself on the regional scene. He went on to perform at César Palace, The World Today Festival, Fiesta Club, Le Phare, Pacha Club, and now holds the position of resident DJ at Le Moulin. This progression, forged on the ground, through direct contact with the audience, has given him a precise instinct for electrifying a venue.

The name MAGGENTA came naturally. Magenta is his central color, a symbol of energy, luminous warmth, and intense sensations. This hue, so prevalent in club lighting, has the power to transform a simple space into a sensory experience. It has become his identity, his visual and musical lifeblood.

A multi-genre artist mastering pop, dance, electro, urban, and synthwave, MAGGENTA creates emotional and modern tracks designed to last as long as they ignite a club. He possesses the rare ability to transform an atmosphere into a true sonic narrative. Mashups, edits, and early productions have inspired him to take the next step and professionalize his ideas.

This evolution became concrete when he met Gregory Barata, known as Greg Bayley, and the Mega Prod label. Collaboration quickly became inevitable. They shared the same energy, the same understanding of the market, and the same obsession with creating sustainable and exportable projects. The label was looking for a new DJ artist to develop on the international scene, and MAGGENTA was looking for a producer capable of transforming his potential into a solid career path. The partnership was a natural fit.

Several projects then took shape, ranging from dance and electro-pop to 80s and 90s waves and future club. The first official act of this new era was Galactic Chatter, released on December 5, 2025. This track fuses retro synthwave, emotional pop, and futuristic production, inspired by the cosmic universe of Bleaxx, an intergalactic entity communicating through light waves and codes.

Galactic Chatter symbolizes the birth of the MAGGENTA universe. A connection between humanity and the unknown, between the heart and frequency.
